The great thing is being able to get an appointment on the day that you need or feel unwell.
The only way I have found I can get to see a doctor is to attend the 'Open Surgery' which is held on certain afternoons. This involves a long wait but I have found it impossible to get through by phoning in the morning. It means that I do not know which doctor I will see but this does not concern me because all seem to be equally competent and helpful. Unfortunately, time restrictions sometimes make me feel that the doctor is rushing and has little time to discuss finer points but overall the treatment I have been given has been very good. In addition, my wife's very serious condition was identified early, acted upon promptly, monitored carefully and treated successfully.
Great to have the availability of a drop in surgery.
Thank you for your positive feedback. We will try to retain this popular clinic as long as we feel we can deliver safe patient care in this way.
It would be lovely if you could discuss appointments and treatment without everybody hearing. seperate receptionist to answer the telephone.
Please be aware that you are able to ask to speak to someone in private should you so wish and a sign is displayed in reception to that effect. We do have a second receptionist answering calls in an upstairs office.
We are very lucky to have a friendly and cheerful surgery to come to. I have never had a bad experience in 18 years.
Thank you for your positive feedback. We try hard to exceed patient expectation where we are able to.
